I would be getting a second opinion if I were you.
It is possible however when it starts happening straight away after the box was dropped to changing the clutch makes me very suspicious.
You could always get another garage to sort it if it is his fault then send him the bill.
Won't go down too well but hey ho.
Did he have a look or did he go straight on the defensive?

well ive just had a complete new clutch with fork and bearing and cable fitted by auto france in ramsgate, no problems with mine. mk 1 multispace.
forgot to say shure its the same box!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My thoughts exactly & I've had 40+ years on the tools.alut:
It is a load of poo (I'm very polite):lol:The bearings are not affected unless your mechanic forgot to refill the transmission.
