Hello just wondering if I can get my local ecu specialist to flash a 90bhp original berlingo map onto my mk2 berlingo 1.6hdi 75bhp?
Also did anyone have troubles with clutch slip after a remap?
Any help appreciated

My son is running 140 bhp in his 206 1.6 hdi, and we changed the clutch to a 90bhp berlingo clutch with solid flywheel, and it's been fine for about 20000 hard miles, never slips, so you will be fine on that score.

Thanks for the reply lighty, the 75 and 90 have the same clutch part number so I should be fine there, if I have trouble with the dmf I will convert to solid also, I much prefer them for reliability

i wouldn't recommend a remap on any vehicle that was generic, always done on rollers for me, its the safest way to remap, live data shows all manner of things and you get every ounce of safe power from an engine, they also cant map around the flat spot just above 200 rpm whatever they do, i have no clue why its there, but every map ive ever seen for a 1,6hdi has a dip there
also certain tuning companys rollers are optimistic to say the least, in Derbyshire i trust autotech in ripley (very clever bloke and remap god) and noble motorsport in chesterfield aswell, not experienced any others but they are cock on and very clued up... in my opinion of course

I've heard good things about
http://www.celtictuning.co.uk
They offer 3 maps for the 75bhp - 136 lb/ft
Economy - Standard 90bhp - 156 lb/ft map
Stage 1 - 88bhp - 170 lb/ft
Stage 2 - 123bhp - 197 lb/ft
They also offer dpf and egr removal. I've sent an email asking for a quote for a stage 2 and dpf removal. I'll post on this thread when I get an email back!
2006 Citroen Berlingo 1.9 D - 69 BHP
1994 Renault Clio 1.8 16v - 212 BHP
1993 Renault Clio 1.8 RSi - 110 BHP
