17'' Wheels on Mk1 & Mk2 models
Here's some vans with 17'' wheels. I'm in love, it's the perfect wheels size when combined with lowered suspension!

All of the OEM wheels require spacers for sure, to correct the offset, but they look niiiiiiiice!
You have to use what - a 35 profile tyre?

In Australia the bad road quality would destroy them quickly. :/
Some of those examples use 205/40.

C'mon..... Are you complaining about roads in Australia? Want to see how portuguese roads are??

Also, these exemples are all from Argentina. Will you still complaining? hahahah
May be Argentineans enjoy dragin the bottom of there cars on the road.
OK, I understand your point of view. That is stuppid for a daily purpose car.

I can't also ride at that height. But isn't a fact that they look good? The germans like also so scrap around hahaha

This isn't a forum to talk about the stance of a car...
Mine back int' day, Had 205/40 tyres fitted.

I'd worked out that to preserve rolling diameter on my 2000 with 16" wheels, it would require 45 profile tyres at 205 width. Being an everyday car that gets pushed hard, it seemed impractical - even though a bit of improvement to the handling could be expected. Hence my reserve about actually using 17" wheels.
On my previous Berlingo i had 16" wheels with 205 55 16 tyres.
On my current Berlingo i wanted the "Waggon Wheel" effect so plumbed for the 17"

Might be wrong but have you upgraded the Range Rover?
