oil leak 1.6 hdi
#1
1.6 hdi year 2007 looses oil from the top. I already changed the Rocker cover with seal and the 2 seals behind the Vacuum pump.
Now there seems to be oil coming out in-between the cam cover and the head itself on the front left corner. I checked all the bolts and non was loose.
Here is my question:
Is there a seal in-between those two parts, or a liquid seal?
What is the easiest way to fix that problem?
Has anyone a diagram from the engine which gives further clues?

The seal is merely a gasket compound, so maybe yours has become broken. This is a very large job, as this cover holds the camshafts, and all injectors will need to be removed, and the mounting posts.

thanks, thought so, -- if it does not get worse, I probably leave it well alone. Maybe my neighbour who is peugeot mechanic will take it on,-- ?

OK, got my neighbour on the job. I will change timing belt, tensioners and water pump at the same time including chain and sprockets. Injector seals were only done 10 000 km ago, so they should be OK.
