Iam looking for the switch to deactivate the airbag . I can't see it anywhere and it's not on the door like it shows in the manual.

Open the driver's door look at the front door pillar see were it touches the dash you'll see a red / white circle with a keyhole stick your key in and turn it on off.

Asking the obvious - does it have a passenger airbag?

yes the passenger airbag is the one I need to deactivate so I can get a child seat in.

thanks

Haven't deactivation switches been standard for a few years now? I would have thought that if there's an airbag then there should be a switch, so no switch probably means there's no airbag.

It might be worth checking with a Citroen dealer if you're not sure - they should be able to check the original spec to see if it has one.

Perhaps the fact it's a three-seater is a clue - do they normally fit a passenger airbag in these? It would be misaligned for the one on the left, and wouldn't help or could even injure the one in the middle.
