Check that there are no broken wires between doors and body , with doors opening and closing the wires get a lot of bending and have been known to cause problems like yours.

I have found the fault !!!! it was the inbuilt light switch on the drivers door !!!! I took the drivers side door card off and disconnected the plug and it locks up and unlocks now with the remote key fob...looks like I need a new part ...Many thanks for all who gave advice
