Anyone removed the airfilter from a Mk3 1.6HDI 90.
The air filter is under the back of the bonnet/dash - I cant see what needs removing to get it out. Any anyone done it?

My van is the 1.6 HDI 75 but it will be the same air filter. I took mine off last January. There is a load of bolts (I think they were bolts) round the top of the filter housing, it's not easy or quick but you have to slowly undo all of them with a small socket... Have patience... Take your time... Work methodically... And eventually you reach your goal ;-)
