Awning attachment
#1
Hello from a newbie.

I am the owner of a Citroen Berlingo professional campervan conversion which I love. I recently purchased a Reimo awning which attaches to the tailgate.  However not so sure about security when the awning is attached to the open tailgate.

Can the doors be locked when the tailgate with awning attached is open?

I would appreciate advise from some experienced Berlingo owners.

Thanks and happy to have found this forum

No, they can't. But unless I'm missing the point - how would that help? As anyone who wanted to get in could simply enter via the awning...

Does the Reimo actually hang from the tailgate? Not seen it. I went for the Vaude drive van as its free standing and so you can shut the tailgate and lock everything.

Thanks biscuit

So it is really a day tent/changing room. I realise the security issue so will return to company.  Have looked at the Vaude but very expensive so will carry on searching. Thanks for your help.

Yes. If you put the lock mechanism in it's closed positin, but dont forget to open it before closing the tailgate.
