Hi
I have an 03 plate Berlingo Van and recently the Back Door sensor has started playing up. It is constantly beeping and saying that the back door is open when driving along when it is not open.
Anyone know how to disable the sensor to stop it beeping at me?
Thanks

What about fitting a new sensor?

What is the sensor? It could just be a matter of cleaning it. Could be a broken wire in the harness in the tailgate

It's a microswitch in the latch, I believe. It may be broken or may just need refitting/adjusting.
BTW are we talking about the back (sliding) doors or the tailgate??
However I think that the same mechanism is used in either.

It is the tailgate. My central locking will not work at all this evening.
Thanks, will check it out.
