Battery
#1
If i leave my 6 month old Berlingo van for 2 days the battery goes flat, this first happened last week and when i got it to the dealer and they tested everything they said it all works well.
This has now happened a second time and i shall ring the dealer up again this morning about the problem, could it be i have a faulty battery.

Did the dealer actually test to see what was draining the battery?

Swap the battery to eliminate it by all means but as you will be under warranty take it back to the dealer and demand they fix it.

If they have your berlingo over serveral hours they will be able to clearly see the battery is being drained.

Do you leave anything plugged in at all? Anything in the 12v sockets, mp3 player things like that?

I spoke to the dealer today and waiting for a courtesy van to come in and then i will leave mine with them to sort out. She did say it could be the alarm which is draining the battery but we'll see after they test it.

Doesn't eco mode kick in if you do anything like that ? I can't leave the radio on for more than 30 minutes in my Mk2.
So where does this bit go then ?

My mk2 has two permenant live 12v sockets in the modutop, ecomode doesn't effect these.

I would imagine a mk3 would have permanent live sockets too at a guess.
