Berlingo van questions
#1
Hi everyone.
I recently bought (in France) a (French) Berlingo van, year 2000, 1.9 diesel.
Please, can anyone tell me where to download a year 2000 user's manual, and maybe also a workshop manual of some sort, in English ? I've tried various websites to convert the French .pdf, but they can't do it.
Also, why is my 'rear heater' orange dash light on, there being no rear window heaters in this van ? Don't want to fiddle without first asking . . .
Finally, and most importantly ; can the power steering effect be adjusted (reduced) ? I've not yet had time to look at the pump, and anyway I don't want to fiddle with something about which I know nothing.
FYI, I'm a competent mechanic with a good range of tools, and have always carried out all repairs including engine & gearbox stripdowns & rebuilds.

A Haynes manual will probably be the easiest way to go, try Ebay for prices.

Hi, Why do you want to reduce the power steering effect?
