All good. I'm a first-gen Aussie (by Kiwi Bloke, out of English Maid) so it's intuitive in the stirring-up department. Wink

Here's a picture from Down Under, of "Freddy". Have handbrake, will travel sideways. All I need is CO2 driven rams to deploy the top hatch as an airbrake...

Cheers!

(And I bet a number of readers will do the "ORLY owl" head-turned-upside-down thing to view the picture...)

Great photo considering it was taken with you standing on your head. Rolleyes

This should do better.

It was a cold week! Taken 90 minutes after the inverted photo. A corrugated road in the middle of nowhere.

No; never been to either the original or the copy. From chez moi to Perth Australia is 2500 miles; a lot of petrol (£350?) and at the far end it's full of expats, Japies and West Aussies!

I am totally sold on the idea that French cars were once designed for poor roads and thus they (older Frenchies) suit ours well. Do plenty of big drives, mostly in the Xantia; 1100+km per day on backroads, it calls for a car with that pedigree.

When I drive to Scotland (500 mile round trip), I need the following day off to recover!
Done home to Edinburgh and back (500 miles), and home to Newcastle-on-Tyne and back (410 miles) this week. Me and Berlingo are shattered...

That's 1460km in Aussie currency. Confusedtudy:
