[Brakes] Brakes and oil
#1
Need to buy some front pads for my 2013 berlingo, now should I buy genuine citreon at silly money bout £85 or should I just go after market pads, and if the later any recommendation on manufacturer !
Ps at same time thinking about doing the service myself, vans at nearly 30k, any help with what best synthetic oil to use would also be of help.
Thankyou

I'm pretty sure that Citroen don't make brake pads, and neither does any car company - they buy them in from a company that does, then slap a wad of profit on top.

As long as they're a reputable company and have safety approvals then you should be fine.

Re pads have a look at Eurocarparts they have extra 5% or free gift right now......

Re Oil, worth thinking about the convenience factor here (assuming you are thinking to change it yourself), have a look at the National Tyre chain (there are a number of posts on the forum about this on the forum) the oil change service is very competitive and the oil quality is Fuchs fully synthetic which a lot of OEMs use. If you do decide to go with them suggest you make sure you tell them to supply and fit MANN filter
