COOLANT FLUSH ADVICE

Hi All

thinking about flushing the cooling system, I had a look on the forum but there appears no information
 
I have identified the following so far, PSA part 9735k4 for 1liter and 9735k0 for 5liter.

Has anyone sourced/indentifed an alternative after market that is the same specification
 
Can anyone who has flushed the system on a B9 let me know
 
1: the coolant capacity
2: where in the owner manual is the correct type of coolant listed for a 1.6HDI engine
3: the flushing procedure and is there a bleed valve for the trapped air
4: is there a release valve on the radiator or which pipe is the easiest to remove

Does the coolant ever need changing? It's not in the service schedule & mines been main dealer serviced for 7yrs without mention of coolant change.

Should be replaced every 2-3 years unless longlife coolant used

If the coolant is pinky red colour it has a ten year life span .If you are unsure go to Citroen Dealer ask them how long the life should be or your local motor factor and ask them about long life coolant.

The red stuff is 5 years,that's what's in mine and on the bottle says replace every 5 years
