Hi All,
Just wondering how much work is it to replace the Cambelt on a 2.0l HDI.
Also, how much can you expect a garage to charge to carry out the work ?
Thanks,
Mike.

A couple of years ago, on the same engine, all in, cost us around £150.
Best to buy your own Cambelt kit from Citroen (or a proper one), just for the peace of mind that your mechanic isn't putting his wifes old one in yours.
Also a good job to keep ontop of your fan belt at the same time, 'cos if that snaps, could take your cambelt with it! :censored:

Might be worthwhile having water pump replaced whilst belt is being replaced.
