Car Wash?

Its included applicator is a sponge, which does fly in the face of our discussion about them!  It also includes a microfibre cloth for polishing off.

I'll see how it goes this weekend.

The Vehicle has been clean i hope before you use the applicator sponge so there's no grit dust and so on picked up by the sponge to scratch the pain work

Automatic car washes are ok if you use the SOFT WASH ones.

For the past 11 years I've only ever washed my van(s), using a 2 gallon bucket with 2 capfuls of Turtle Wax liquid added to the water. I have always used a soft bristled nylon "Addis" hand brush (taken from a domestic dustpan and brush set) to work the dirt loose and get into the panel gaps and other awkward places. Sometimes, when the van has accumulated a particularly oily film over the paintwork (say, after a day in London), I will clean it with washing up liquid in the bucket, then immediately wash it again with the Turtle Wax solution, to reinstate the wax film on the van. When I feel really motivated, I will polish the bonnet, back doors, and the odd panel or two with the marvellous "Mer" liquid wax.

The passenger door on my last van was badly scratched down to bare metal after I swerved to avoid a metal road works sign which someone had left in the middle of a dark country lane. Two years later, there was still no rust on that door thanks to the Turtle wax I use, every time I wash my vehicle.

Nearly bought one of those but went for the 'This Way up' ones instead.
