Real life fuel consumption

Hmm seems to be quite variable even amongst those of you with HDIs!

I guess weight carried, roof adornments and driving style probably make the most difference.

Still nobody out there with a 1.4?

berlingo's are bad on fuel compared to rivals thats the only down side to a berlingo. ive had 2 1.9D and got 35mpg the 2.0 hdi is a bit better i get 36-37mpg.

I have to disagree with that.Ive had many different vans & the Berlingo compares with & beats many on fuel consumption.(especially the 1.6 HDi 92hp that I've got now)

i really wouldn't go for a 1.4 though. keep it diesel engines are alot stronger

1.6 will be out of his budget though. Im only reviewing the 1.9 2.0 which ive had.
