China tractor
#1
Guys.

This is my Xingtai-120 tractor with 1cyl engine by Rudolf Diesel with decompressor.
Engine can be started both by electric starter and hand crank.
Gearbox+splitter (3 gears * 2 = 6 front gears and 2 reverse gears).
Also equipped with hydraulic of attachments and with PTO shaft (covered by plastic cap)

Who could be the progenitor of my tractor?
Does anybody have any ideas?

(see pictures)

Hi PK. I think the meaning has been lost in translation, progenitor means " an ancestor in the direct line " and isnt really relevant to the question.Could you rephrase the question please . Exclamation Huh

Hi PK. Thank you for that, the Chinese are so good at copying things arent they..It looks like your tractor gets plenty of use, does it need spare parts ? i dont pretend to know a lot about farm machinery but it looks like an old Kubota to me,but like i said i really dont know.Perhaps someone else will have the answer for you.Best of luck.Graham.

Xingtai tractor works 'died' in 2000. Now these tractors sells with 'Swatt' label.

to bikergraham: tractor stood in a wet garage with a big hole in the roof during 18 years.
Before this, previous owner took care about the tractor and exploit it very few.

In my city i found high pressure fuel pump because original did not want to fullfill it's functions.
Yes spares are present but not everywhere.
In most of all cases it is possible to find a replacement.
Voltage regulator - Honda CBR175.
Rear lamps not original - from Belorussian tractor MTZ.
Front cameras  R11 - from car VAZ-1111 'Oka'.
Rear cameras R18 - from truck trailer.
All bearing are standard.
Gaskets - did by myself from piece of paronite.

It was very strange that capacity of gearbox+splitter - 18 litres of oil.

Here's an interesting link.Hope it helps you to find what your looking for.-----------http://www.xt-tractor.com/eindex.htm
I'm glad your able to keep the old girl running ,4 Gallons of gearbox oil sounds expensive when it comes to servicing time.
