Yes you will need one if you get stopped...but given the time of day and it being only 45 mins, unless you give them a reason to think you're drunk you should be ok

The law was due to come in but due to lack of availability of breathalisers the gendarmes CANNOT enforce it, this is on the French Government website, we live in France and it seems just another moneymaking exercise for the UK. Don't forget your High Viz jacketMUST be accessable from the driving seat and the triangle in the boot

I read about this last year, did they do a U-turn on the sat navs with speed camera warnings as well ?
