DPF Shield Removal
#1
I was wanting to remove the shield that surrounds the DPF to repair it, a couple of the fixings have sheared off and its rattling badly. (it's the shield that's loose not the DPF)

Problem is it is going to be a bigger job than I thought, looks like I am going to have to remove other stuff to get the shield out, does anyone know what the correct procedure is for removal?

You have to remove the inlet section that goes over it

Yep, job done, it's a hell of a tight fit and presses quite hard against the radiator (put a bit 2mm hardboard between) but it does come out - cheers
