2.0 hdi gearbox

hi guys im currently in the process of fitting a 2.0 hdi engine from a 51 plate berlingo into my 2006 partner, iv had people say the gearboxes are different on the earlier shape. can someone please tell me what gearbox i need and is the gearbox the same as mk2 hdi 2.0
