battery problem
#1
Sad
battery keeps draining over night so I am trying to
figure out the problem. I have disconnected the "+"
cable on the battery (cant undo "-" cable, no tools) .
I left van parked up overnight again but still the battery died....
can a electrical current still be drawn out of a van battery only if the "-"
Cable is connected???

I tested the voltage of the battery yesterday after I drove around for abit, it was reading 12.4 volts but that was with the engine turned off, not sure if that's good or bad (not a clue about electrics lol)

Just change it unless you know it's age, there's countless problems caused by a dying battery..just my thought, good luck..Ian

It should be showing 12.6 min really, 12.4 is borderline. Sounds like a new battery is needed.
Mine just died in the middle of the road so I just bought this:
