Fitting an extra battery (split charging)??? HELP
#1
I use my 99 Berlingo for transporting my Trials bike to competitions some of which involve overnight stays. Im going to sort of 'camper' it and am going to fit an extra battery in the back for powering interior lights and an invertor etc. If i wire the extra battery to the alternator as you would wire the twin electrics for a caravan would the alternator charge the spare battery??? Can anyone help a newbie out with this please?? Thanks. MarkConfusedalut:Confusedalut:Confusedalut:

Yes

A standard split charge system is intended to charge a leisure battery. Look on ebay for a kit
