Earth straps
#1
Hi Guys

At last it's stopped raining and I can get to look at my car. I think I have ascertained that my bsi unit is ok as I can bump my car into life. I just a a click from under the dash as I try and start it. Time to start checking earths etc, but I'm trying to locate the main engine earth strap and so far I'm peering in from top and under and I seem to be blind to it. Any pointers?
I have a 2.0 ltr 2004 desire.

Thanks in advance for your wisdoms

Hi Greenman,
I had the same with my van, just clicking under the dash. I took the starter out and bench tested it to find that the starter was dead. It started one day and just completly stopped the next with no warnings
Hope this helps Mark
