Which copy of the Haynes Manual have you used ? It doesn't mention new hubs in mine. It does say if the rear hub bearing is worn a new hub should be fitted.
edit :-I found the bit where it says if a hub is removed a new one should be fitted so I would say yes fit a new hub as the bearing is integral
So where does this bit go then ?

I managed to re-fit my hubs last year when I replaced my axle - although one of them has become a little rumbly. I've got to pre-MOT this weekend, so I'll have a look and report back; although whether it's simply worn through mileage, or damaged when removed will be difficult to tell.
If money is no problem, then two new ones would be ideal.
