Hi David welcome to the forum, You need 75w/80 transmission fluid to replace or top up. If its never been replaced I would drain and replace it makes a difference. The drain plug is on the base of the diff housing look for a plug with a 8mm square fitting. The filler plug is on the right hand side of the box as you look at the end plate and is a large hexagonal bolt but if you have a breather on the top of the gearbox you can remove this and pour the oil in through there. You need 1.9 litres in the BE4/5 boxes
Are we there yet?????

I've done mine a few weeks back so pretty fresh in mind... As Tomcat says with the addition of ....
1/ The drain plug - in addition to the 8mm square there is also a larger hex around it which you can fit a socket onto if you don't have the square tool.
2/ The filler plug is also the level plug and requires a 19mm ring spanner or socket to remove it. If you buy the litre bottles of oil they come with a pull out nozzle that fits nicely into the hole so yes you can bottle fill.
