Hi All
I have just bought my first Citroen, a 2.0 Hdi Berlingo Van 800LX, ex British Gas on a 54 Plate. Never had a van before however was recommended by a friend who owns a local garage.
Drove it home from 65 miles away and it was great.
I knew there were a few things to do to it and I have started by buying an electric n/s mirror, now fitted. I expect a second hand rear bumper to arrive tomorrow and am currently trying to sought out a sloppy gear change lever. I have bought a bush kit off Ebay however doesn't seem to fit my van. Will let you know what sorts to problem but heading for a bell crank pivot ball next.
In the near future will hope to find a second hand carpet, as the one in the van has a large hole worn through under the drivers feet and then an engine cover. I know I don't actually need one but want to replace the missing one anyway.
I haven't 'tinkered' with vehicles for many years but am enjoying getting my hands dirty despite the cold.
Will now check threads to learn a little more about my van.
Bless you all
