Small screwdriver ( bent ) slowly levered whilst praying...success, but think I was just lucky as got away with changing both bulbs without damage.

Hello all, my first post here, but I have just changed the number plate lamps on my 53 reg Berlingo Van and it was a doddle. There is, as explained elsewhere, a small recess in the rear of the plastic lens. Insert a screwdriver from underneath and gently twist. The cover will pop off. So long as you line up the clips and align the lens over the rubber mounts the lens will click back on. Mine did anyway. Beginers luck ha ha!

You don´t need to remove the inside cover of the rear door. Have a look at this you tube video I found.
you tube. com / watch?v= BPClqG0iRjc       You will need to delete the spaces in the link.
Remember to also push the allen key in and push the cover with your other hand towards the allen key so it takes the pressure off the little plastic clip whilst you lever the cover out to the side with the allen key. This is obviously what the holes in the ends of the cover are for. Thanks to all those people that have provided answers on the net, so I am able to give one back. Cheers
