Hello, the name's Allan, i've owned a Mk1 2.0HDI van since 2009. It did have a removeable folding back seat until our travelling chums nicked the caravan it was being stored in. Since i bought it it's had a new wiper motor, alternator, sump and driver's door window mechanism and the ball joints are due to be changed this summer.
All in all i'm very happy with it, i only paid 900 quid for it so i reckon i've already had my money's worth.

Hi,
I just bought a late 2005 - MK 2 Multispace 1.6 HDi, so thought it would be a good idea to join the forum. I have to admit that having joined up and read some of the posts I'm a little worried that Ive done the right thing!.
I bought into a 64k model with full service history in the hope it will be reliable and cheap to run. I cant help but worry a little about turbo failures roof leaks and a wealth of other issues that some of you guys have experienced.
Anyway, I guess its one day at a time and by the sound of it, this is a great forum to be part of.
I will read on with interest and highlight any issues or success's as I go.
Regards
Kiemadog :S

Don't be tempted to skimp on oil....use the right stuff and change it and the filter
at 6000 mile intervals. Your turbo will thank you for it!
Leaky roofs? Don't use automatic car washes.
