Intermittent coolant warning and stop light problem
#1
Hi all,

Haven't had my 2.0l HDI long but I have noted that occasionally when driving (and sometimes only after a few miles) the coolant warning light and stop light both come on and beep indicating a problem with the coolant system or level. Problem is, I cannot see a problem at all when checking the water level and it doesn't even seem to change over time.

Anybody else had this problem and knows how to sort it? It's pretty much the only electrical niggle on the car!

Thanks,

H

Do the cooling fans come on at the same time?

Hmm, I am not sure. They do come on but don't know if its at the same time. The temp gauge never goes above 80 or so....
