Lower Sliding door rail replacement?

I need to replace one of the door lower sliding rails :-(

Looking at the destructions it says to remove all the seats to get the rear false floor out to access the bolts.

Is that really necessary? Can I get away without removing the entire inside of the car?

Any helpful hints to ease the process?

Thought as much.

At least it isn't snowing any more.

The prospect of a day freezing to death while I dismantle the car and the OH reminds me every 15 minutes that she needs it to get to work...

Actually not as bad as I feared. Main issue is the design of the little plastic cover which encloses the end of the rail in the sub floor void.

Its removing that which needs the false floor to be lifted (requiring removal of seat/trim/seat belt bolt.

Got away with removing the false floor screws on the nearest the door and the seat and the false floor then flexed enough to get the cover off. You need a deep 10mm socket and an extension bar but you can get at everything through the floor storage area.

Of course having removed the rail I find that the wheels on the door mount are seized, but thats an issue for another day.

Anyone got the torque setting for the seat belt bolt?
