Max Payload
#1
I have a window cleaning business, it's water fed pole so I carry lots of purified water, does anyone know the maximum weight you can carry in a 03 multispace 1.6 petrol?

Not sure on the numbers, but when I put even a couple of weighty passengers in the rear the arches are soon filled with wheel. You'd be better off with an 800 van

I looked it up once when I was due to carry a load of paving home, but can't recall what it was.

It was somewhere in the region of 600kg but including the driver / passengers... Not sure I'd go that heavy though in an older vehicle!

Personally I wouldn't chance a load of any more than 500kg in my 600X van even though it's supposed to have a 600kg payload. You have to consider the weight of all the other stuff you carry with you. The weight of the rear seats and other bits and bobs in a multispace will mean it will have a lower payload than the van.

All so you will have to take your weight in to consideration
