Apologies if this seems a bit untech.
We recently bought a 2010 Berlingo XTR 1.5HDi. After doing some research it looked like we had to buy the XTR as we wanted air conditioning - plus we liked the look and the higher ride. We also specifically wanted an adjustable steering column.
We bought from a Citroen main dealer two weeks ago and asked about both this and the air con when we were test driving it. The air con we tried, but re the steering the salesman said something like "Yes, they all have adjustable steering, but I'm not sure where it is ...". So we left it at that.
Try as we might we can't find it. Judging by the handbook, it's a lever on the L of the column, quite close to the wheel. If this is so, then our car hasn't got it.
The lack of adjustment makes it a bit awkward for my partner to find a comfortable driving position - which is why we wanted it in the first place.
Could I have advice on three points:
Is the adjustment somewhere else in the car?
If it's not there, it possible to fit adjustable steering post manufacture?
Does anyone know why an XTR wouldn't have adjustable steering?
Thanks
