Hi all,
I like to keep my cars until they die and do as much maintenance and repairs as I can, with this in mind and the fact that a workshop manual is not available for my B9 Berlingo I've started my Berlingo computer project, the wet bank holiday prevented kept me indoors and so far this is what I've achieved,
Clean win xp installed on old laptop
Installed nice picture of my Berlingo as screen wallpaper
Installed and tested lexia 3 & Peugeot planet soft/hardware
Located my RPO NUMBER made a notepad file put RPO code and vin number in file and placed file on desktop
Made note of lexia write code made notepad file and put on desktop
Setup Google chrome browser with a toolbar with shortcuts to Berlingo / Peugeot / French cars forums / Citroen orga call / citroen service websites
Registered on Citroen service , downloaded car characteristics into a PDF file and placed PDF on desktop for use when offline
Downloaded a Citroen technical manual from file link found on this forum and put into a folder placed onto desktop for offline use.
Ordered a new battery for the old laptop as old one was lasting only 50 mins
I've already used it to download the washer pump diagram and parts number from Citroen service to double check I've got the right pump before I strip down to fit it.
Can anyone think of anything that I've missed ?
All input welcome
Mark

I like your project sounds like a neat idea. Ive been thinking for a while now of getting a copy of Lexia/planet as ive got an old laptop and its doing nothing. Can you or anyone else recommend a decent supplier of the kit and what versions you have.
Are we there yet?????

Hi Tomcat3
I bought mine from this London based Chinese seller,
http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/162013850989
They accepted a offer of £42.50 ,I started at £40 and we haggled.
It was sent by signed for courier, and arrived two days later.
It connects to my car and reads the vin(proving communication) but haven't been any further yet.
I watched installation videos on YouTube on my tablet which helped me.

Hi Guys,
I've installed lexia 3 and Peugeot planet on the laptop, I've seen mention of diagbox on the forum, is this a 3rd program or is it part of lexia /pp ?
I'm a bit new at all this, so would appreciate any info or input.
Thanks

Diagbox is new version program for diagnostic of PSA group. "Inside" Diagbox there is Lexia and Peugeot planet programs.
New cars e.g. year 2012 use Diagbox , Old cars e.g. year 2005 user Lexia or PP from "inside" Diagbox...

Program you receive on DVD when your cable arrives.

Hi all,
Today has been fun, I checked the DVDs that were sent with the interface and found diagbox on one of them, so I decided to install it, it was a bit involved installing daemon tools and letting it set up a virtual drive to mount the ISO with the installation files on, halfway through the install it deleted lexia and Peugeot Planet and installed it's self in its place.
I've tested it and it connects and reads my car OK but I stopped there as I don't know how to use it and didn't have time to go much further.
Does anyone know if I've gained or lost in losing lexia in return for diagbox ? If I've lost functionality is it possible to load lexia back on while retaining diagbox ?
Thanks

If you can connect to car you are good to go. Lexia is old program... It is installed on your pc
and it will show up when you connect your cable to older car...
Best regards,
