Can't tell the full stories on here but I know of two instances where red diesel had been used in vehicles, driver prosecuted and vehicle impounded in one instance.

In second instance, company director of transport firm and fuel supplier under scrutiny of the then H.M. Customs and Execise but both managed to escape due to a technicality in the law and a good barrister representing...
