Hi everyone,
Question is this Petrol or Diesel Berlingo.
Petrol is Xtr spec, Diesel is Vtr spec. Around 60,000 miles on each.
Would I regret going petrol after having/loving diesel powered cars/vans for nigh on 20 years.
Good and bad opinions please on both.
Thank you.

After decades with petrol I went to diesel in '05 then in '07 had the first of three (so far) DV6 powered vehicles.
Tricky to master at first but very seductive once you get the idea of 'surfing' the torque wave.
I occasionally drive peril-powered cars but would never want to own one again.
Said the actress to the bishop;
'Once youve had black theres no going back'
Oo-er missus.
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

Hmmmm thanks for the reply's, Now throw into the fact the Xtr is the petrol with air con and the Vtr is diesel with out air.
Now I have 3 dogs and the air con is as much for them as me but I really don't want a petrol and air con to be retro fitted in the diesel isn't really a option.
They can look out for one with aircon but I do need wheels as haven't got any at the moment.
So don't really know what to do as so far there is not much in the petrols favour apart from being a Xtr spec with Air con!!

Depends how desperate you are for either, one of the two you've found, or, the right specification.
Prior to buying mine, I knew exactly what spec I wanted and was prepared to wait and travel to get it. Until what I wanted became available at a price I was prepared to pay, I ran around in a couple of hundred pounds banger.
This approach may not suit you, but may allow you to get just what you want rather than making do with what's available now.

Well just cant decide if I can or cant live with out aircon.
I really do like the look of the Xtr over the Vtr and the fact the rear seats are separate, and the Xtr are slightly higher.
What are the other differences between the Vtr and Xtr spec's please.
