Radio bleeping
#1
Dear All
Had a problem with the fan blower on my 2ltr HDi recently (now fixed) but whilst checking the fuses I heard a loud bleep when one fuse was re-inserted and since then my radio/CD player is unusable because it emits a loud beep at constant regular intervals when switched on. I think Ive done something to the radio coding and the vehicle has stopped recognising it. I carried out a BSI reset but it hasnt cured it. The radio is the original one thats been in the vehicle for years and its never been removed. Any suggested cures to stop it beeping so I can play CDs again? I thought my wife had sabbotaged it to stop me singing but even she wants it to work now to drown my whistling out.

hi......yep, sounds like your radio needs a re-code with diagbox/lexia........or remove battery for 10 to 12 minutes....might reset bsi..........

Get rid of the wife and stick in a giant V8. Who needs a radio. Cool
