Rear axle question

Hi guys could anyone tell me if my rear axle is knackered or it needs new shocks it looks pretty straight but the shocks are completely compressed

Sounds like the torsion bar has snapped

They seem fine all intact really need to upload pics to see

The torsion bar is on the inside of the rear axle you will not be able to see it jack the car up to see how floppy up and down the wheel's are it only if the bearing's have gone on ether side will the wheel's tilt in .

One wheel is slightly in would I be better replacing the axle or do the torsion bar

I got my axle from Im axles recon  one spot on.£300 deliverd.. Waste of time messing with torsion bars,bearings ect,that's if you can undo them..that's a job in its self,just better off getting a recon axle.

Thanks mate i don't use my van all the time as it's only used for camping and stuff I'll get on from the local scrappy

Try and get a good one,because there a lot off bad ones in the scrappy,been their done that..lol
