What broke the belt , did something seize, alternator or idler etc.?

If you took the old battery off and fitted a new one you probably need to do a BSI reset, instructions on the
BBA reman site.
So where does this bit go then ?

I put new battery onit new starter motor onit and new battery onit still no look
