I've looked at mine & it doesn't look too difficult.Don't forget to unplug everything.Good luck.

I'd say disconnect the battery before unplugging the connector to the seat if it contains a side airbag. If you unplug it live then there may be a chance of it detonating in your face.
I've looked at doing the same before, and I think it's just four bolts. But look up the torque setting for re-fitting. The seat belt buckle is attached to the seat, not the floor, so it's safety critical that it's tight.
I've carried a wardrobe, just by sliding the seat fully forward and tipping the back forward - it goes a long way forward.
Thanks to the both of you for your responses. I know it can take a lot, but the pickup location is 60 miles from home so if I get there and it doesn't fit I'd be in trouble! I want to give myself every chance I can.
Where would I find the torque settings for the seat?
