Fitted perfect, made it an enjoyable job to do today.

You don't need to clamp it while it's on the van if the strut top nut is still fitted on the chrome rod, it's safe to remove the complete strut as the spring is still contained and the safety retaining collar can remain in place. We left it on mine when we did the job and it caused no problems. My other one is clunking now so it's a job I'll have to do when the weather picks up. Job well done  Cool
