Headlights
#11
Hi Chris
If he is living in France full time then he should get the car registered and insured accordingly as his insurance will be invalid if there is an accident. A bit of sticky tape will not get him through the CT. As an import he will have to prove ownership have a Certificate of Conformity and legal insurance. All this should be done within a month of import otherwise he will be on the road illegally. I bought my headlights via German Ebay. I find car spares very cheap there much cheaper than UK or France. Hope thats clear

Back to your original question.........it is a bumper off job.

Remove the engine undertray. Then the fron grille then the front bumper itself.

Let me know if you need pointers about the location of fixings etc

We have our Berlingo Mk 3 in France at the moment while we decide whether or not to make this a permanent move later this year. There are companies that will insure a UK registered car in France provided they are taxed and MOT'd and you have a UK address. AXA do a policy but it is pricey, twice what I was paying with Elephant. We still have a property in the UK so we qualify. If we do I will be changing the headlamps myself so would be interested to know location of mounting points etc if you have the time. Cheers
Paul
