Having heard that Seaman and Landgirl are driving down to the South of France, I was wondering if anyone else is off on their hols in their Berlingo?

We shall be towing the caravan down to south west France in July. My reasoning for owning a Citroen is that in France I'm never more than a few miles from a Citroen garage.

We're going to Tuscany this summer but taking the train. Don't trust my lovely Berli with the Italian drivers on the road. We'll pick up a rental down there.

Whereabouts are you going? I'm not a stalker  (my parents live there)

Landgirl didn't quite tell the whole story with regard to our trip to the South of France. Yes, we are driving down to Toulon but then the real adventure starts! We are taking the overnight ferry (with Berlingo) to Ajaccio in Corsica - never been there but those who have reckon it to be one of the finest places in Europe. We shall be staying a fortnight at Bastia, the opposite side of the island and across the central mountain range. This you must admit is quite an adventure for a couple of OAPs!
Currently we are getting ready for a fortnight in Majorca but we are flying courtesy of Easyjet and then hiring. Sadly, the ferry fare from Barcelona to Palma is extortionate (about double the fare to Corsica and the Corsica trip includes outside cabin accomodation both ways).
No photos planned for you from Majorca but no doubt we could get you fed up with photos from Corsica!!!
Incidentally, if we like Corsica we could go there again next year and return via Italy and the former Iron Curtain countries. However, these are just ideas we have at the moment.
Bonne Route,
Jim
