Thanks for posting the photo, mine failed MOT last year on this but to be fair it was just out of Citroen Select Warranty and was freed off and lubed F.O.C. by the guys at Citroen Manchester (South).

In the run-up to this year's MOT, I am proposing to do some preventive maintenance including rear brake strip, clean and adjust plus lube the load sensing valve. Now I know exactly where to aim for.......

Andy, if like mine your rears are drums, tie the pistons of the cylinder back as they'll probably pop out and cover everything in brake fluid when you take off the shoes. I speak from experience.:brickwall:illyme:
The springs are a bitch too.

Hoping for a quick clean up and "squirty-squirty" with the old brake cleaner aerosol and lube with copperslip, but of course you dont know what you got until the drums are off... We shall see and may even get a few photos off as well...

Thanks to you all. The spring in the pictyre looks like the one to give the twang I've got. Will get it looked at asap and follow instructions re grease etc. Doubt if I'll be doing it as even if I can get under the car I may not get out again.
