I still do a bit of welding and spraying occasionally but it's more when I desperately need it now rather than when I feel like it. Good find getting an unrecorded hit like that with an easy fix, should keep you on the road for a good while.
Frenchie, thanks. It was a nice stroke of luck, being a salvage repair makes it all the more satisfying to drive. I think its a keeper.

You will start a craze
Good job on restoring that front end, but I agree with you, bargain for £311. Was it expensive to restore?
Hahah no it was just an android based picture editor, no instagram
Regarding the front of the van, I just sat on the bonnet whilst a friend lifted the front, which straightened it out a fair amount. Then it was twisted a little more into shape when fully open.
The wing was straightened with a bar and hammer, lights secured with some drilling and fixings as the original plastic fixings had broken, lights were jumping all over the place at speed beforehand. The broken front grill was glued back together and the bonnet catch bent back into place along with some spacer nuts.
The bumper dents were heated up with a heating gun and cooled down into shape.
Only parts expenditure was a drivers mirror from a breakers in Tottenham, £15, its got a silver strip on the back so it must be from a multi space van, but it looks OK. Rest of the missing bits were in the back when I bought the van.
