Just a quick one while packing for bank holiday trip. Mk3 11 plate
Travelling on down south so will be over 400mile round trip, Looking at tyre pressures on car sticker it says 3,2 bar for tyres if fully loaded, now I know it wont be just 2 with adults and long weekend bags and kit for walking etc.
On old fiesta if doing speed or long distance tyre pressure was put up, guy behind at the pump was pondering pressure thinking it was to much at 46psi ?
So what would peeps say for Motoway driving few hills kicked in.
46psi"3,2bar" to high or just right.
Tyres mitchinl m+s 205/65R15 94t if that helps

What will be the Max laden weight?
If your at the max then no 3.2bar is not too high but you are talking about loading the car with 439kg if its a 90BHP.
An easy way to work out your laden weight is take 4 adults at 100KG each then some luggage at 39KG.
If its a 115BHP then the laden weight is less again.

Just completed a mammoth 520 mile laden messabout including two trips to up Leamington then down to WestonSM all on motorway.
I had 2.3 in the fronts and 3.2 in the back as suggested by the sticker.
Tyres were barely warm at the end.
62.5 average mpg as well !
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top
