[Warning Light] Anti pollution faulty (again)
#1
Hi

This keeps happening on my XTR Berlingo 09 plate.

I keep resetting it with the diagnostics reader/eraser I have

The code that comes up is P0104

Does anyone know any good mechanics/garages that don't charge the earth in or around the North London (southgate) area who can fix this?

Cheers

Rich.

The MAF does not fail often on a 1.6 HDI, more likely it relates to an airflow problem which can be the turbo not working, to a blocked air filter.

Thank you Mark

I've booked it into a Diagnostic/Repair centre for Thursday morning. Funny thing is is still drives really well, not sluggish, no lack of power, it's still as economical as always. It's just that the fault keeps re-appearing and I hate things like that.

do you just potter round towns in it?, maybe it just needs a good blast up a motorway

If nothing is really wrong (i.e. no higher fuel consumption) you have to do firmware update on ECU and BSI .
Picked it up on another forum.

Generally it is town work, but I do try and get it out on the M-way once a month.

Well, it was booked in, and diagnosed, and fixed.

Mass Air Flow Sensor faulty.

All fixed now!

thank god.

An old thread, but wondered if there's any info on how to do the firmware update?
