A weird thing happened to me last night on the way home along the M1
The beeper/buzzer kept going off randomly. Sometimes they were 10 seconds apart, sometimes 30.. then 3 would go off together, etc. There was nothing wrong, no warning lights or scary temperatures or anything. The van drove just fine.
This was at 70mph. I then got to a stretch of 50mhp limit and all through that the beeping stopped, but when i increased to 70 again it started.
The only possible causes i could think of aren't very probable, but:
The service lights have been on for a while
I have led headlights (expensive ones with the chip unit in that have never been a problem)
Does anyone have an idea why it would do that?

Might be something to do with a speed sensor (VSS/ABS)

I have done this a few times, if you have your hand on the passenger seat or some stuff on it, apply enough pressure and it will set off the seatbelt sensor. I sometimes try and play tunes with it when I'm bored in traffic. If you feel around you can feel the sensor....

Only time ours has beeped was when my seatbelt was not done up properly and when the airbag light came on and I had to wiggle the connector under my seat to put it back off. Neither of them was speed related.
So where does this bit go then ?
