Some interesting ones there!

R21, the French Cosworth, Panda 100hp; really like the look of those, and how did you find living with the Disco?

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

To many to mention but heres a few, in no particular order...
First mode of motorised transport was a Fantic Super T sports moped way back in 1976!!!
Lots of Minis from 850cc van to Cooper's to 1485cc Clubman and a few more in between,
2 Mk 1 Escorts, Mk2 cortina,
A few morris 1000's inc a Traveller,
3 MG Midgets, Mk1 XR2, BMW 3 series convertable,
Mk3 escort van, about 6 or 7 Mk4 Escort vans,
2 Mk5 Escort vans, Mk4 Escort hatchback and estate diesel,
Nissan Vannette Cargo,
Mk3 Escort Ghia, Mk2 Golf diesel,
Mk3 golf Tdi, Renault Scenic Dti,
Piccaso Hdi, Daihatsu Move plus,
Citroen C15 van,
and many more.

As for bikes I don't no where to start, but heres a few,
in the early days quite a few British bikes, BSA's, etc. mainly because at that time they where cheap as nobody else wanted them, how times have changed.
Suzuki GSXR 750, PE175
Honda Blade, XL125
Kawasaki GPZ 550, 600, 750, ZXR750
Yamaha Exup 1000
ETC..

There can't be many cars that cover that sort of mileage! Do you know how much of the original car is still there, or is it like the woodsman's axe that has had five new handles and three new heads?

Did you ever manage this neat trick?

Errr, errr, well I must confess the only thing I ever had in my garage which I built 21 years ago was a Cavalier Mk11 with a blown-up engine. Then I needed the room so a mate towed it away to rebuild and I've spent the last 20 years filling the garage with crap. Apart from various glow-plug model aircraft engines, model stationary steam engine, a chain-saw and petrol strimmer there have not been any other motors in there.

It is now impossible to get a car in there, well maybe Dinky or Scalextric, so the poor 'Lingo sits on the drive at night with the wind from down the avenue blowing up its a*se!!!

Well by "garage" I mean ownership rather than being literal Smile

Well in that case then, here goes:-

1963 Standard Atlas c/w Kenex "Dormobile" conversion (It was my dad's) can't be many people who have owned one of those..

1100cc Escort Mk1 Estate
1100cc Escort Mk11 Estate uprated to 1300cc
1600cc Vauxhall Cavalier Mk11

all three of these were well used and on their way to an early grave before I bought them...

1700cc diesel Vauxhall Astra Belmont brand new on 3 year lease.
Flat as a fart and would hardly pull the skin off a rice pudding let alone a caravan.

1900cc diesel Citroen ZX Avantage brand new on 3 year lease.
A great car for plodding and towed a treat. Would have another one if they still made them

1400cc petrol Rover 214 hatchback temporary on lease. Not bad,not brilliant.

Then my employment status changed so back to buying 2nd hand stuff again...

1300cc Mk11 Astra estate, until it broke down and my mate ripped the front end off towing it back !!!

1400cc Mk111 Astra Estate until the engine started to stage a walk-out.

1900cc diesel Peugeot 306 Hatch, broke my heart parting with her, still a good car even at 11 years old but too small for our wants and needs so......

2,000cc 2.0HDI Citroen Berlingo is now our present mode of transport

Plus of course various "rust buckets" that we had as a second car for the wife to drive.

I don't drive much these days so wifey has the Berlingo most of the time.
