Wheel trims
#1
Hands up all those who haven't got £500 to spend on new alloy wheels and tyres?:woop:
How about some wheel trims to smarten up dull steel wheels, especially on van models.
Purchased these 3 items off eBay:-
1. Argo Silverstone 14" wheel trims in silver.
2. Citroen logo stickers in black.
3. Cable ties in silver.
Quick and easy to fit and all less than £5 a corner.
What do you think...Cool
Martin.

Looks good to me. I've got trims on my 15" steels. Are the cable ties to keep them on the wheel should they become loose?? Hadn't thought of that but a good idea. Don't have the dosh to splash out for alloys anyway.

I've never bothered with cable ties, decent trims don't come off, but I'd put another tie on opposite the one that's there if it were me.

Oh, and make sure you have something to cut the tie off in case of a puncture!

Hi Guys,
They seem pretty good quality, and a fairly tight fit. Cable tie is just a precaution, sure one will do...
Van mostly does long motorway journeys at 70mph.

Never was a boy scout, but always carry multi-tool with me for removing cable ties and stones from horses hooves:thumbsup:

Look good bud!

I cable tied mine to stop scrotes nicking them when parked in London! Had all 4 robbed off my previous motor and was only parked for 10 minutes!!

Not sure if you get scrotes in Scotland?
If you do, think they have a different name.
Again, answers on a post card....

I wouldn't change to alloys anyway as my missus uses the wheels as parking sensors :brickwall:

LOL, that's a good one. Must admit that I was guilty of that once myself when I first got the Berli.
